Role Overview

The Deployed Engineer (DE) position involves acting as a technical expert interfacing directly with customers to ensure they derive maximum value from Devin. You will lead the technical components during pre-sales, including designing product demonstrations and managing pilot projects. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify suitable use cases for Devin and develop training and enablement programs to support widespread adoption among customer engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all technical facets of the customer journey from deployment through successful activation, ensuring effective use of Devin.
• Engage with customers to diagnose their technical challenges and pinpoint opportunities where Devin can contribute productively.
• Foster strong relationships with client engineering teams to facilitate seamless integration and adoption, enhancing user engagement and product utilization.
• Continuously develop the product by incorporating direct customer feedback and advocate for their needs within the internal team.
• Provide expert insight to influence the product roadmap based on your deep understanding of customer requirements.

Qualifications

• A degree in a STEM discipline.
• Demonstrated success in enterprise deployments in go-to-market or forward deployed engineering capacities.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with ease discussing complex technical subjects across different organizational levels.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous, and fast-paced environments with a strong drive to expand scope and responsibilities.
• Proven capability to learn rapidly and adapt to new challenges.

• Past experience as a software engineer.
• Previous entrepreneurial experience or startup founding.
