Department Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Department Manager to join our retail store team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This role involves assisting customers, offering detailed product information, handling transactions, and driving sales growth. A positive and proactive attitude is essential, along with the ability to manage daily operational tasks to maintain an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and support their product inquiries and purchases.
• Provide clear and accurate details about pricing, product features, and after-sales services.
• Promote additional products through cross-selling and inform customers of ongoing discounts or offers.
• Oversee floor management, ensuring merchandise shelves and racks are orderly and well-stocked.
• Manage team activities to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
• Handle merchandise returns effectively.
• Collaborate with staff and report feedback to the Store Manager.
• Keep informed about new product arrivals and services.

Requirements

• Completion of 12th grade or equivalent education.
• Between three to six years of relevant experience in retail or department management.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory handling and procedures.

Compensation and Growth
