Job Overview

Join a prominent FMCG and beverage company based in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, as a Demand & Supply Planner within their Supply Chain division. The role involves managing inventory and ensuring timely availability of products by aligning demand forecasting, production scheduling, material planning, and dispatch coordination across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate regional and sales forecasts along with warehouse space, stock levels, and production capabilities.
• Perform SKU-specific forecast analyses to enhance accuracy in demand planning.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators related to demand and supply planning, identifying root causes and driving corrective measures.
• Assess sales patterns to pinpoint major factors influencing product demand.
• Generate statistical forecasts to aid the sales forecasting process.
• Create production schedules considering current inventory, capacity limits, demand, and actual sales trends.
• Plan procurement of raw and packaging materials factoring in inventory, storage capacity, shelf life, and costs.
• Collaborate with procurement teams and suppliers to secure necessary materials meeting production volume requirements.
• Devise supply and dispatch strategies to uphold balanced inventory, reducing shortages, surplus inventory, and product aging.
• Maintain ideal stock levels for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging components.
• Ensure all planning-related documentation and system data remain accurate and up-to-date.
• Work closely with Commercial, Logistics, Procurement, Warehouse, and Technical teams to coordinate volumes and supply demands.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Have at least 3 years of industry experience in the FMCG sector.
• Proven hands-on expertise in demand and supply planning activities.
• Deep understanding of supply chain operations and workflows.
• Proficient in SAP systems, especially in DSP and APO modules.
• Good knowledge of production planning, material management, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English language skills.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in fast-moving consumer goods, beverages, food production, or high-volume distribution environments will be given preference.

This position is based in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, requiring onsite presence.
