Demand Planner

About the Role

We are seeking a Demand Planner to join LG Electronics Singapore as part of our business growth. This role involves overseeing all aspects of forecasting, purchasing, and shipment activities while managing LG and channel PSI operations. The candidate will conduct comprehensive analysis to support effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure adherence to planning procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create weekly and monthly PSI analysis reports and coordinate with Sales & Marketing to assess sales and inventory conditions.
• Utilize PSI management systems such as GSCP and GDMI to evaluate sales forecasts and shipment schedules.
• Track and improve key performance indicators including SFA, Channel PSI coverage rates, and inventory metrics like Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and aging stocks by model.
• Distribute weekly PSI KPI reports detailing results and analyses.
• Lead coordination of S&OP meetings by delivering statistical sell-out and channel stock insights, managing action logs for unresolved issues with stakeholders, and reviewing overall forecast updates.
• Manage End-of-Life (EOL) and New Product Introduction (NPI) product sales and inventory statuses while monitoring PRM activities.
• Regularly review long-term inventory and DIO to optimize stock levels effectively.
• Supervise shipment plans and address product shortages to minimize supply disruptions and balance inventory.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, inventory planning, or order management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication attitude.
• Proficiency in planning and coordination with strong teamwork skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively collaborate in a team environment.
