Delivery Team Leader

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Team Leader to join our team in Khamis Mushait, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing daily courier operations, ensuring timely shipment delivery, and maintaining high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage courier team attendance, assign workloads, create shift rosters, and oversee daily task allocations.
• Supervise shipment movements and route operations, monitoring daily deliveries and pending shipments while ensuring full geographic route coverage.
• Track and analyze signing rates, delivery efficiency, and courier productivity, prepare daily performance reports, and escalate any operational challenges promptly.
• Maintain excellent customer service by ensuring pre-delivery calls are made and addressing any delivery complaints or issues effectively.
• Coordinate the fleet by monitoring vehicle conditions, immediately reporting breakdowns or accidents, and arranging for timely vehicle replacements.
• Manage and control exceptions by verifying and documenting abnormal shipments with proper evidence.
• Ensure all activities are compliant with company protocols, safety policies, and delivery standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in last-mile delivery or logistics operations, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Exhibit strong leadership capabilities alongside effective problem-solving skills specific to operational challenges.
• Have a good grasp of route planning and be proficient with basic data reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel.
