Job Overview
Publicis Sapient is expanding its operations in New Zealand and seeks an experienced professional to lead digital and AI-driven transformation initiatives. This role involves establishing the company's footprint in New Zealand and spearheading complex transformation initiatives for leading organisations, helping them modernize operations and leverage emerging technologies like AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth and development of Publicis Sapient's presence in New Zealand by building influential relationships with clients, partners, and key business stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, guiding the design and delivery of digital, data, and AI-powered solutions aimed at solving critical business challenges.
- Lead large-scale technology and digital transformation programs from inception to successful completion, establishing governance structures, delivery methodologies, and fostering alignment across teams.
- Promote Agile transformation by coaching teams in frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, encouraging continuous improvement and modern practices.
- Create collaborative environments where team members are empowered to contribute and excel.
- Manage program performance, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement to ensure impactful outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Substantial experience overseeing large digital, business, or technology transformation projects in consulting, professional services, or complex enterprises.
- Proven history of delivering results with multidisciplinary and distributed teams.
- In-depth expertise in Agile delivery frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
- Experience in guiding organizations through delivery capability enhancements at scale.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in program budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Ability to simplify complex scenarios and drive progress in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Leadership skills in coaching delivery leads, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams.
- Consulting experience including proposal contribution, client solution design, and supporting business development.
- Experience managing multiple strategic initiatives effectively while prioritizing quality and outcomes.
- Strong abilities in facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving, and building relationships.
- Familiarity with delivery and portfolio management tools such as Jira and Rally.
- Experience overseeing large delivery portfolios, including programs valued over $10 million.
- Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in Agile delivery, program management, or transformation leadership.
