Job description
Role Overview
As a Delivery Driver at Repco Hobart, you will be responsible for safely collecting and transporting automotive parts to our trade customers within your designated area. This role requires dedicated customer service skills and the use of a company vehicle during working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage timely deliveries of parts within your assigned region, maintaining excellent customer service to trade clientele.
- Drive safely and responsibly, prioritizing your safety, the safety of coworkers, customers, and the public.
- Handle physical tasks including lifting, loading, bending, and climbing associated with merchandise delivery.
- Maintain a punctual and positive demeanor with effective communication skills.
- Adapt to a flexible working schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays when needed.
Essential Qualifications and Traits
- Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Strong commitment to safe driving and workplace safety procedures.
- Capability to manage physical demands of the role involving lifting and manual handling.
