Role Overview
As a Retail Assistant at Repco, your primary goal is to create excellent in-store experiences for customers. From greeting them upon arrival to advising on products, assisting with selections, upselling, and managing sales transactions, you will play a vital role in customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver authentic, friendly service that leaves a positive and lasting impression on customers.
- Exhibit exceptional selling abilities contributing to the store’s sales performance.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support overall store success.
- Maintain superior presentation and merchandising standards within the showroom.
- Handle stock processing and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized.
- Work Tuesday through Saturday, fulfilling a 40-hour workweek.
Qualifications and Skills
This role is highly customer-centric, so a natural affinity for people and a passion for providing excellent service is essential. Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred. While product training will be provided, having an interest in automotive parts is advantageous. Confidence in a retail/sales setting and strong communication and phone skills, along with a positive, team-oriented mindset, are critical for success.
