Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator

About the Role

Arkan Marketing Services is seeking a Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator to oversee and streamline daily delivery operations within Qatar. This position involves managing delivery schedules, driver assignments, route planning, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all dispatched orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily customer deliveries efficiently.
• Plan delivery routes considering location, priority, and specific requirements.
• Assign routes and orders to drivers, establishing clear daily schedules.
• Monitor driver activity and track deliveries throughout the day.
• Follow up promptly on delays, pending, failed, or rescheduled deliveries.
• Collaborate with Customer Service for unreachable customers or clarification on delivery details.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates on delivery statuses.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and customer collections processes.
• Track Cash On Delivery (COD) orders, ensuring proper documentation and handover of collected amounts.
• Coordinate COD financial reconciliation with the Finance department.
• Ensure that undelivered or returned products are correctly returned to Inventory.
• Supervise driver attendance, punctuality, performance, and productivity.
• Keep precise daily reports and documentation related to deliveries.
• Identify recurring delivery challenges and implement improvements.
• Verify that all dispatched orders are properly accounted for and closed daily.

Qualifications

• Possess 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in delivery coordination, dispatch, last-mile logistics, or courier operations.
• Prior work experience in Qatar is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Doha and the road networks across Qatar.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliveries and coordinate drivers efficiently.
• Good understanding of route planning and scheduling principles.
• Experienced in handling COD deliveries and completion of reconciliation processes.
• Strong organizational abilities, effective communication, and diligent follow-up skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude to handle delivery complications under pressure.
• Proficient using tools such as Google Maps, Excel or Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and ERP or order management software.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Current residency in Qatar is required.
• Preference for candidates available to start immediately.
