Deli Bakery Team Associate

Position Summary

The Deli Bakery Team Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service following the core values of the company, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bakery and deli departments, and helping with restocking and sales of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the organization of department shelves, tables, and storage to ensure proper arrangement of products in assigned areas.
• Rotate inventory regularly and inspect for expired or unsellable items to maintain product freshness.
• Ensure all merchandise is clearly labeled and accurately priced.
• Comply with all food safety requirements including cold chain standards, correct use and calibration of thermometers, temperature logs, proper food handling, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Receive and process customer orders for deli items, prepare hot foods, and assist customers as needed.
• Prepare deli products using appropriate utensils, including cooking chicken in rotisserie ovens and replenishing prepared side dishes for display.
• Follow specified thawing and baking procedures to produce bakery goods such as breads, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls consistent with quality and appearance guidelines.
• Follow correct procedures for ordering, clearance sales, markdowns, and ensure proper signage, labeling, and flags for products.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.05.

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
