Job Overview
The role centers on crafting high standard hot and cold deli items while prioritizing excellent customer service to enhance shopper satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody the Centra brand values of pride, energy, imagination, and community engagement in day-to-day activities.
- Prepare a range of fresh food orders including assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot food, and slicing meats adhering to store portion control guidelines.
- Cook, prepare, and arrange food items for sale throughout the operating hours.
- Maintain top-quality counter displays in all fresh food sections consistently throughout the day.
- Express enthusiasm for quality food by exchanging knowledge, recipe ideas, and personal suggestions with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally in accordance with store policies.
Candidate Profile
- HACCP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate in a busy team environment; capable of multitasking under pressure.
- Genuine passion for food that resonates with and motivates customers.
