Deli Assistant

Job Overview

The Deli Assistant is responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Embody and promote Centra's brand values: pride, energy, creativity, and community focus.
• Prepare customer orders in all fresh food sections, including making sandwiches and rolls, serving hot food, and carefully slicing meats following portion control guidelines.
• Cook, prepare, and present the deli food items throughout the day, maintaining high standards.
• Maintain attractive and clean counter displays in all fresh food departments consistently during operating hours.
• Show enthusiasm and expertise for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, adhering to store policies.

Candidate Profile

• Having HACCP training is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
• Capability to work effectively within a team in a busy environment, with an ability to multitask under pressure.
• A genuine passion for food and the ability to engage and inspire shoppers.
