Overview

This role focuses on preparing both hot and cold deli items of exceptional quality while prioritizing customer satisfaction above all. The position is based in Farranfore, County Kerry, Ireland, involving direct interaction with customers and food preparation in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Centra's brand values by demonstrating pride, energy, creativity, and community commitment.
• Prepare customer orders involving fresh food sections, such as assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot food, and slicing meats using the store's set portion control methods.
• Cook, prepare, and present the daily food offerings to maintain appealing displays.
• Maintain counter displays in all fresh food departments at the highest quality throughout operational hours.
• Express enthusiasm for quality food by sharing product knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions with customers.
• Respond professionally and effectively to customer questions and concerns according to store protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Having received HACCP training is beneficial but not a mandatory requirement.
• Strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this customer-facing role.
• Previous experience in customer service is considered advantageous.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
• A genuine passion for food and the ability to motivate and inspire customers.
