About the Role

We are seeking a skilled decorator with a keen eye for detail to join a reputable company specializing in high-quality painting and decorating, particularly within disrepair and mould remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint a variety of interior and exterior surfaces to exacting standards.
• Handle damp and mould disrepair tasks including mould washing.
• Apply intricate decorative finishes.
• Carry out surface preparations such as sanding and patching.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet clients' expectations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a decorator, either through formal qualifications or practical work history.
• Competency in diverse painting techniques and finish applications.
• Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Possession of a valid driving license.

Additional Information

The position is permanent and full-time, based in Eastleigh, UK, with a salary of GBP 34,000 annually. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
