Job description
Position Overview
The Decaler role at Wabash involves precise installation of decals on truck bodies, ranging from front to rear and covering sizes from large to small. The installer is responsible for preparing truck surfaces and applying decals as per schematics and client expectations.
Primary Duties
- Work independently to complete decal installations.
- Contribute to and drive improvements in safety, quality, and delivery performance.
- Maintain an organized and hazard-free work environment.
- Interpret and follow schematics and work orders accurately.
- Use tape measures and specialized decal installation tools.
- Clean and prepare truck bodies for decal application.
- Apply decals carefully and correctly.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, gloves, glasses with side shields, respirators, and hearing protection.
- Complete other related tasks as directed by supervisors.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic literacy and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with tape measures and manual or power tools.
Training and Experience
Wabash offers training to equip employees for assembler roles. Once hired, candidates will undergo orientation and multiple days of training to prepare for production tasks. Prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma are preferred but not mandatory.

- Competitive pay rate between $21.50 and $25.25 per hour.
- Work schedule Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM.
