Job description
Role Overview
Datadog's General & Administrative (G&A) team supports critical business functions including space planning, hiring, onboarding, financial and legal operations ensuring smooth organizational performance. As a Deal Desk Analyst based in Dublin, you will collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Billing, Contracts, and Legal departments to assist the Global Sales team with quote preparation and deal structuring. This position offers growth potential as Datadog expands.

Key Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive expertise in Datadog's licensing and pricing frameworks to assist global sales in deal configuration and quoting.
- Creatively solve challenges to meet customer needs while complying with company sales policies.
- Address and resolve customer satisfaction concerns post-deal completion.
- Engage directly in negotiations with customers as necessary.
- Liaise with diverse internal teams including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, finance, revenue, and product management.
- Serve as the primary advisor and subject expert for sales regarding deal pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company controls, rules, and protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years overall relevant experience including sales operations, finance, sales strategy, or sales enablement.
- At least 2 years experience in structuring and quoting complex SaaS agreements within a fast-scaling multinational enterprise.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition accounting principles.
- Capability to represent Datadog confidently in customer negotiations and resolve satisfaction issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communicator capable of thriving in dynamic, high-pressure settings.
- Proficient quantitative analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) tools is advantageous.
