- Create and revise contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales teams to provide quoting assistance using CPQ and CRM platforms.
- Manage and track the deal approval workflow, coordinating prompt responses from Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze deal economics involving discounts, commitment terms, payment structures, and bundled pricing for policy and regulatory adherence.
- Act as the main contact for daily deal and contract inquiries across Sales and Account Management departments.
- Investigate and resolve deal-related challenges by consulting internal teams and identifying effective resources.
- Support Sales Enablement efforts by providing relevant training and guidance on deal processes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of deals and contracts within Salesforce.
- Work with Revenue Operations to refine deal desk procedures and improve quoting tools and approval flows.
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including deal assessments and pipeline reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, or a similar analytical function within a SaaS environment.
- Deep knowledge of SaaS business metrics, including subscription pricing models, recurring revenue measurements, and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 familiarity is advantageous).
- Practical experience with Salesforce CRM systems; experience with CPQ tools like Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, or Apttus is highly desired.
- Proven ability to prioritize conflicting tasks effectively and maintain performance under pressure, particularly during financial quarter closings.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with a systematic and process-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills capable of engaging with interdisciplinary teams such as Sales, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling and deal analysis; knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus.
- Sound judgment when handling deal exceptions and ability to escalate issues suitably.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with complex enterprise SaaS deals involving multi-product or platform bundling.
- Experience participating in contract negotiation processes, including legal redlining.
- A background in financial analysis, deal structuring, or pricing strategy is beneficial.
