About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Python to join our team remotely. This full-time position involves developing and maintaining high-quality Python code for training and optimizing AI models. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and enhance reward models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain efficient, high-quality code to train and improve AI models.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for ongoing enhancement.
• Assess and rank AI model responses to user inquiries across varied domains, ensuring alignment with set criteria.
• Create detailed explanations and justifications for evaluation results, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical proficiency.
• Lead supervised fine-tuning initiatives, including the creation and maintenance of precise, task-specific datasets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in Python programming for data analysis and model development.
• Hands-on experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract meaningful insights from public datasets using business acumen and analytical skills.
• Strong debugging skills and aptitude for composing comprehensive technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain reasoning and logic, especially in Jupyter notebooks or equivalent tools.
