About the Role
Join PwC Singapore's Digital Tax Unit as an Associate where you will leverage data science to innovate tax technology strategies and solutions. PwC is a global network delivering audit, tax, legal and consulting services with over 370,000 professionals across 149 countries.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to uncover insights and value within their data using analytic methods and visualization tools.
- Build predictive models, employ statistical techniques, and perform data mining to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets.
- Analyze data to generate new product offerings or optimize development, marketing, and business processes.
- Create and maintain predictive and large language models (LLMs) to define targeted business outcomes, assess risks, and enhance user experiences.
- Apply data and models to formulate risk mitigation strategies aimed at preserving and improving clients19 user engagement and experience.
- Oversee end-to-end project management by clarifying requirements and designing appropriate research methodologies.
- Monitor current business and industry trends to stay informed and relevant.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, or Mathematics with 2 to 3 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Experience in data visualization and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Prior work experience in data analytics within financial services, professional services, or engineering roles.
- Strong skills in statistical modeling, algorithm development, data mining, and machine learning.
- Practical programming expertise in SQL, Python, cloud environments, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of mathematical, statistical, and programming concepts related to large language models (LLMs) is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to clients and colleagues clearly.
