Data Scientist - Genomics

Role Overview

The position of Data Scientist specializing in Genomics involves extensive data analysis employing various machine learning and statistical methodologies. A crucial part of this role includes integrating multi-omics datasets with radiomic information from CT and X-ray scans through deep learning techniques, extracting biologically significant insights to support scientific research and development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive analyses using machine learning and statistical approaches.
• Employ deep learning to fuse multi-omics and radiomic data derived from medical imaging.
• Derive interpretable findings from complex data to enhance scientific content.
• Identify novel biomarkers such as DNA, RNA, or non-coding RNA linked to cancer or develop predictive models for diagnostic applications.
• Create and deploy innovative analytical tools and methods to improve data interpretation, production processes, and ensure data quality.
• Provide statistical guidance for experimental design, process improvements, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Support diverse commercial and cross-departmental projects with analytical expertise.
• Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master of Science in a relevant scientific field.
