Role Overview

We seek a Saudi national to fulfill the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO), adhering to the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). This pivotal position will lead governance and compliance activities within both CYBER and its client projects, closely collaborating with various teams and regulatory authorities to uphold data protection standards and support national data security goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal expert on PDPL compliance both internally and for client engagements.
• Oversee and audit compliance processes within the company and for clients.
• Act as the official contact point for the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage inquiries from data subjects, ensuring their rights under applicable laws are respected.
• Lead planning for data breach responses and assist with incident investigations.
• Conduct training sessions to raise awareness about data protection and legal responsibilities.
• Assist senior management with compliance risk evaluations and reporting.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, Risk, and Project departments to maintain cohesive governance structures.

Qualifications

• Must be a Saudi national, in line with PDPL regulatory requirements.
• Possess between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience in data protection, legal compliance, or privacy management.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related discipline.
• Preferred certifications include CIPM, CIPP, CDPO, or ISO 27701.
• Deep understanding of NCA frameworks and national cybersecurity legislations.
