Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a Data Partnerships Lead to join our client on a full-time remote basis. This role centers on creating and managing strategic data partnerships to enrich product offerings and generate revenue through data monetization. It requires robust expertise in data strategy, negotiating vendor agreements, and effective collaboration with engineering, product, and legal teams.
Key Duties
- Identify and assess prospective data partners to broaden the platform's data ecosystem and enhance model effectiveness.
- Negotiate and finalize data licensing agreements ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory standards.
- Partner with engineering teams to assimilate third-party data sources into current data pipelines and platforms.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of data partnerships, offering strategic suggestions for improvement and expansion.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance units to guarantee all partnerships meet regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in negotiating data licensing contracts and partnerships within technology or AI-focused sectors.
- Deep knowledge of data monetization tactics and data infrastructure frameworks.
- Expertise in data analysis tools and techniques to quantify partnership value and effects.
- Capability to lead cross-functional collaboration involving engineering, product management, and legal divisions.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA relevant to data partnership processes.
