About the Role
Nord Anglia Education seeks to hire a Data Manager for Etqan Global Academy (EGA) in Doha, Qatar. EGA is a new IB World School delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing student data and related systems, enabling leaders, teachers, and families to make well-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the school's Management Information System (MIS), specifically iSAMS, including yearly setup, managing student records, and regulating user access.
- Coordinate assessment data collection and generate detailed student reports for PYP and MYP.
- Analyze data concerning student attainment, progress, and attendance, presenting findings clearly to school leaders and teaching staff.
- Compile and submit precise data reports to authorities such as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the IB, and Nord Anglia Education.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of student and staff data, adhering strictly to Qatar's data protection regulations and Nord Anglia Education policies.
- Enhance data management processes and improve integration among various school systems.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a relevant degree.
- Minimum of three years' experience managing school data or MIS systems.
- Proven hands-on experience administering MIS platforms, preferably with iSAMS.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to exercise prudent judgment when handling confidential information.
- Skilled at conveying complex data insights effectively to personnel without technical expertise.
- Experience with international schools or IB programmes is highly desirable.
