Data Management Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Lead to develop and oversee the enterprise-wide Data Quality Management Framework. This position ensures that data across various functions, including banking, regulatory reporting, risk, finance, analytics, and AI projects, is accurate, consistent, complete, timely, and fit for use.

Key Duties

• Formulate and execute data quality frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and performance indicators such as KPIs/KRIs and scorecards.
• Establish and supervise data quality rules specifically for Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Lead efforts in data quality issue management involving root cause identification, remediation actions, escalation, and closure.
• Maintain oversight of data quality via dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
• Provide support to regulatory reporting, risk management, finance, compliance, and audit functions.
• Guarantee data quality standards are met for AI, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Data Owners, Data Stewards, IT, Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Champion and advance data governance and data quality maturity across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Between 8 to 12 years of experience in related fields such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, Risk Data, or Regulatory Data.
• Proven experience within banking, financial services, or other industries with strict regulatory environments.
• In-depth understanding of data quality principles including Data Governance, Data Lineage, Metadata management, Master Data Management (MDM), and Reference Data.
• Hands-on experience with data quality and governance platforms like Informatica, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, ABACUS, or similar tools.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and governance processes.
