Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive business data strategies by analyzing end-to-end cross-border payment processes, including transaction handling, clearing, foreign exchange settlement, risk management, revenue tracking, and capital flow monitoring.
• Develop standardized frameworks for data analysis and key performance indicators, delivering detailed business reviews, growth strategies, and risk evaluations to support major management decisions.
• Drive the planning and establishment of data infrastructure such as data warehouses, middleware platforms, and BI visualization tools, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure unified data standards, layered architecture, and permission systems that prevent data silos.
• Lead and manage BI and Data Engineering teams by setting standardized workflows, dividing business objectives into actionable tasks, and promoting collaboration across departments to deliver impactful data insights and platform projects.
• Work closely with teams in business, risk control, operations, finance, and product development to meet critical data requirements, establish routine data monitoring and alerts, identify opportunities for growth, and enhance operational efficiency and revenue generation through data-driven insights.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in data analytics and management within cross-border payment or fintech sectors, with thorough understanding of cross-border collections, payments, clearing, settlement, compliance, and risk control.
• Strong commercial data insight and business acumen, with the ability to create effective data analysis frameworks independently and provide actionable analytics to drive business improvements.
• Deep knowledge of data architecture including warehouses and middleware platforms, and expertise in full data governance processes to independently lead platform planning and execution; hands-on coding is not required but managing technical teams for project delivery is essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing data teams, particularly BI and Data Engineering groups, with proven skills in task breakdown, workflow enhancement, team development, cross-functional cooperation, and resilience under pressure.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and BI visualization technologies. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Data Analysis, or related fields is preferred.
