Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage complete data pipelines from start to finish.
  • Develop data models and architectural frameworks for data storage.
  • Implement systems for data quality assurance, monitoring, and governance.
  • Participate in the architectural design of platforms and products.
  • Support upcoming AI-driven and retrieval-based solutions.
  • Work independently and make pivotal technical decisions.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed during testing and operational situations.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • 5 to 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Proven track record of full ownership over production data systems.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and batch/stream processing.
  • Strong backend programming skills in at least one language.
  • Experience in API design and understanding system architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms or lakehouse architectures.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and demonstrated technical leadership.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Databricks platform.
  • Knowledge of Unity Catalog and Delta Lake technologies.
  • Exposure to RAG, AI, or machine learning data pipelines.
  • Background in government or regulated sectors.
  • Expertise with cloud-native deployment environments.
  • Relevant certifications enhancing professional qualifications.
