Role Overview
We are seeking a proficient Data Engineer / Databricks Developer skilled in Databricks and AWS cloud platforms. The role demands ownership of data engineering projects, analytics, and platform initiatives focused on scalability, governance, and performance enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable data solutions utilizing the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Create, maintain, and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Utilize AWS services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Build analytics and dashboard solutions through effective reporting and visualization tools.
- Implement robust data governance, security protocols, and access control.
- Monitor and fine-tune the data platform to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with business teams, data analysts, and engineering staff for alignment and delivery.
- Maintain superior data quality, reliability, and operational standards.
Preferred Additional Expertise
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Delta Live Tables.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka or streaming data processing frameworks.
- Exposure to Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
- Interest or experience in GenAI, Copilot, and AI-driven data applications.
- Background in financial services or banking domains is advantageous.
