Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and driven Data Engineer with 2 to 3 years of professional experience to join our organization. The successful candidate will be proficient in constructing and managing data pipelines, utilizing cloud platforms such as Alicloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and promoting effective data integration, storage, and easy access.

Primary Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and sustaining scalable and dependable ETL pipelines to merge both structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Automating data workflows ensuring smooth data transfer across different platforms.
• Collaborating closely with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and deliver customized data solutions.
• Converting business needs into technical specifications for data pipeline architecture, storage solutions, and processing workflows.
• Documenting thoroughly the data pipelines, warehouse structures, and governance policies.
• Working alongside security and governance teams to ensure adherence to data security and privacy standards.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant fields.
• Has 2 to 3+ years experience in data engineering roles with notable expertise in handling big data warehouses.
• Demonstrates excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities, capable of effectively engaging with both internal and external teams.
