Responsibilities
- Produce customer, commercial, and product insights by executing data sourcing, preparation, analysis, and visualization to guide product development and market strategies.
- Collaborate across teams to comprehend business and customer challenges, translating them into testable hypotheses and actionable data-driven solutions.
- Engage closely with business stakeholders to align analytical approaches with commercial priorities, promoting strategic and analytical thinking within various portfolio teams and delivery units.
- Handle ad hoc analytical requests to support the Domestic Retail Portfolio and other departments.
- Contribute proactively to enhancing the technical proficiency of the analytics and performance teams.
- Continuously expand knowledge of the health insurance sector, keeping up with industry trends, market shifts, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years' experience in data analytics or a related field.
- A tertiary education degree in analytics, science, business, economics, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in SQL programming is mandatory, with additional experience in R, Python, or SAS considered beneficial.
- Competency with data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Experience using Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake is highly advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to develop clear narratives and presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word based on data insights.
- Strong quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and conceptual problem-solving abilities.
