About the Role

Join Hatched Analytics as a Data Analyst focused on transforming proprietary datasets into actionable investment insights. Your main task will be to analyze these datasets to assess their ability to predict key performance indicators (KPIs) of publicly listed companies. Collaborating with a team of analysts, you will contribute to developing and maintaining automated reporting tools that deliver timely data to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine datasets to measure their reliability and predictive value.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of target companies to accurately interpret data trends.
• Develop and oversee automated reporting systems for regular client updates.
• Assist client-facing teams in answering queries regarding methodologies and data.
• Investigate opportunities to integrate AI and large language models into analytic workflows.
• Take initiative and be accountable for your deliverables.
• Cultivate a collaborative and professional work environment.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum one year experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or consulting roles.
• Strong quantitative education background, including fields like economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or finance.
• Proficient in Python or R for conducting data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Experienced with SQL, preferably using Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses.
• Skilled in Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Curiosity and capability to handle unconventional datasets.
• Detail-oriented with a critical, questioning approach.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify technical content for non-expert audiences.
• Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Keen interest in leveraging AI and LLM technologies to enhance analysis.
