About the Role

Deep Green Construction is an innovative company committed to sustainable building projects and environmental responsibility. We are looking for a detail-oriented and insightful Data Analyst to join our Fredericksburg, Virginia office on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions, improve project efficiency, and further our sustainable construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, cleanse, and interpret data from multiple sources including project management tools, financial documents, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Examine extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and areas to enhance operational processes.
  • Create and update dashboards, reports, and visual data presentations to monitor key performance indicators effectively.
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, and various departments to understand their analytical needs and offer data-driven support.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain the accuracy and consistency of data across all organizational platforms and reports.
  • Assist with forecasting and modeling to aid strategic planning and the allocation of resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or in a similarly analytical role.
  • Strong command of SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with statistical programming languages like Python or R is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a dedication to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly presenting data insights.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • A sincere interest in the construction sector and sustainability enhances candidacy.
