Data Analyst

Role Overview

This position requires a skilled Data Analyst with extensive experience in SQL for data profiling and analysis. You will perform ETL development and data migration activities, interpret the practical implications of data and reporting, and clearly communicate findings to business users and stakeholders. The role involves recognizing trends and patterns in datasets while collaborating closely with business units and technical teams to determine business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced SQL expertise to thoroughly profile data sources.
• Analyze, profile, and methodically present data to support understanding by business and management teams.
• Perform ETL process development and execute data migration tasks.
• Interpret and translate the functional and reporting components of data.
• Present data findings to business users, outlining scope, gaps, and issues originating from source data.
• Identify patterns and trends within diverse data collections.
• Engage with internal teams—including solutions and technical groups—to clarify and meet business needs.
• Create detailed documentation of data mapping rules supporting migration projects.

Experience and Skills Required

• Between 5 to 7 years of professional experience in data analysis and development roles.
• Demonstrable consulting skills with strong proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, SQL, and expertise in data profiling, deduplication, and cleansing procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, including the aptitude to scrutinize and critically assess information to resolve challenges, foresee potential issues, and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in client engagement, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and influence stakeholder relationships.
