Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and assess impacts for new or enhanced applications to estimate development tasks.
- Evaluate various development approaches and recommend the most effective method.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and architects to comprehend needs and requirements for projects and maintenance.
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions aligning with business needs and architecture.
- Perform unit testing and provide support through system testing and implementation phases for complex programs.
- Offer emergency technical support and resolve production issues to maintain high availability, data integrity, and timely reporting.
- Contribute to updating programming standards and practices to uphold high-quality benchmarks.
- Continuously improve processes and technology delivery for greater efficiency.
- Mentor and support analyst programmers to meet performance goals and foster technical growth.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Adobe AEM development and application programming.
- Proficient with Java, AEM version 6.4 or higher, RESTful services, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, and AngularJS.
- Experience with web services, REST, SEO practices, mobile web considerations, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as TFS, GIT, Stash, and Grunt.
- Skilled in designing and building AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using Sling, CRX, OSGi, and JCR.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience of eight or more years in a similar development environment.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, applying SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Solid experience with system development lifecycle methodologies, particularly agile.
- Demonstrated success in integration and development of distributed and cloud-based software applications.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve technical problems related to content management such as search accuracy, dynamic linking, formatting, image scaling, and personalization.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position located onsite in Hornsby, New South Wales, Australia.
Annual remuneration ranges from $130,000 to $160,000.
