Data Analyst

About the Role

ClickSoft Solutions is seeking a meticulous Data Analyst based in Hyderabad, Telangana, to collect, process, interpret, and analyze data to aid in strategic business decisions. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical abilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL, and be adept at creating insightful reports and dynamic dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, validate, and organize data sourced from numerous channels.
• Examine datasets to detect trends, patterns, and generate actionable business insights.
• Generate periodic reports, dashboards, and visual presentations of data.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel features such as PivotTables, lookup functions, and formulas for data analysis tasks.
• Formulate and run SQL queries for efficient data retrieval, filtering, and examination.
• Create dashboards and reports employing Power BI or Tableau platforms.
• Identify discrepancies within data ensuring high accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor key performance indicators and compile performance reports.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand and meet reporting necessities.
• Automate recurring reports to streamline reporting processes.
• Effectively present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation concerning reports, data sources, and analytical methods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis or related reporting fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail ensuring data integrity.
• Effective data interpretation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Commerce, or similar disciplines.
• Preferably holding certifications in Data Analytics, SQL, Excel, or Power BI.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Experience with handling large datasets.
• Basic Python knowledge for data analysis purposes.
• Understanding of statistical methodologies and data visualization principles.
• Experience in preparing management-level reports and business intelligence dashboards.
• Competence in data cleaning, validation, and automation of reporting tasks.
