Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Dairy Frozen Associate and gain valuable skills in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service by embodying Walmart’s values and ensuring the Dairy/Frozen department is well-maintained, clean, and organized with fresh products available at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and properly zoned Dairy/Frozen department to keep it customer-ready.
- Perform stock rotation regularly and monitor expiration dates to uphold product freshness and quality.
- Accurately price and sign merchandise, adhering to guidelines for ordering, markups, markdowns, and labeling.
- Follow strict cold chain protocols and food safety measures including temperature monitoring, proper food handling, sanitation, and cleaning practices.
- Support merchandising and promotional displays to meet standards.
- Keep the work area safe, clean, and free of hazards by cleaning spills and removing debris while following health and safety policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.
Challenges
- Effectively handle a high volume of tasks in a fast-moving environment, especially during overnight shifts, by managing energy and focus.
- Perform physical activities including extended standing, bending, and lifting inventory weighing up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Consistently complete repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with attention to detail and quality.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.50.
