Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Dairy/Frozen area clean, organized, and well-segmented to always present a customer-friendly environment.
• Implement product rotation procedures routinely and monitor expiry dates to guarantee freshness and high-quality standards.
• Ensure all products are accurately labeled with pricing and signage, adhering to prescribed ordering, clearance, and markup/markdown guidelines.
• Follow rigorous cold chain management, food safety protocols, including temperature monitoring, equipment calibration, proper handling, and sanitation to uphold standards.
• Support merchandising initiatives by keeping department displays attractive and aligned with promotional activities.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness by removing hazards, spills, and debris, complying with all company policies and health regulations.
• Be available to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to the store’s operational needs.

Challenges in This Role

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently, particularly during overnight shifts, ensuring focus and energy levels remain high for accurate and timely task completion.
• Handle physical demands such as extended standing, bending, and lifting items weighing from 20 lbs to occasionally 50 lbs, while consistently maintaining attention to detail for stocking and organizing duties.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position starts at $17.75.
