Role Responsibilities
- Conduct regular road patrols and carry out maintenance activities
- Identify and repair defects such as potholes, replace edge marker posts, and clear blocked drainage systems
- Assess risks and establish safe work zones to protect crew members and the public
- Manage materials, supplies, and equipment efficiently during operations
- Collaborate effectively with the team to deliver consistent road maintenance
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full New Zealand Driver's Licence; Class 2 licence preferred or willingness to obtain it
- Demonstrate a positive work ethic with reliability and accountability
- Show initiative and confidence in making decisions and problem-solving
- Be physically fit to work outdoors and remain active throughout the day
- Willingness to perform on-call duties as part of emergency response teams
- Readiness to learn digital recording of completed work using electronic applications (RAMM/AWM)
