Role Overview

As a Cybersecurity Operations Senior, you will be instrumental in advanced monitoring, analysis, and incident response activities. Your expertise will help safeguard customers, improve operational effectiveness, and mentor team members through sound judgment and technical authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver security services by effectively engaging and collaborating with various internal teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor security events and alerts to detect potential threats and emerging risks promptly.
• Perform thorough alert triage, investigation, and analysis to evaluate severity, impact, and appropriate response measures.
• Serve as a senior escalation contact for complex or high-risk security incidents.
• Conduct analysis on threat scope and impact, document findings, and integrate threat intelligence to derive actionable insights.
• Review and assist in producing detailed customer reports and operational documentation.
• Support major incident response efforts and contribute to post-incident reviews and ongoing improvements.
• Provide mentorship and share knowledge with other analysts to enhance team quality and consistency.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure rapid incident response and service continuity.
• Maintain precise documentation for all monitoring and incident response activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in threat detection methodologies.
• Strong background in incident response procedures.
• Skills in threat intelligence gathering and proactive threat hunting.
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Robust investigative abilities and remediation skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a readiness to support team members.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender security solutions.
• Experience using Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring.
• Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data analysis.
• Competency in alert analysis, as well as scripting and automation techniques.
• Strong report writing skills.
