Cybersecurity Manager - Microsoft Security Services

About the Role

EY is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead and expand its Microsoft Security consulting practice within the Cybersecurity Transformation service line. This position involves architecting and delivering advanced Microsoft security consulting across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including services such as Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender suite, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Purview, Security Copilot, 365 Copilot, and Agent 365.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted advisory relationships with clients and senior leadership.
• Lead end-to-end Microsoft security consulting engagements, from initial pursuit to final delivery.
• Translate client business goals into pragmatic Microsoft security solutions.
• Ensure excellence in delivery, high client satisfaction, and cultivate lasting partnerships.
• Provide expert guidance in Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Security, Microsoft Defender products, Data Security & Governance through Microsoft Purview, Collaboration Security, and emerging AI security tools.
• Drive practice growth through business development support, proposal creation, and innovation in service offerings and delivery tools.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire consulting teams to foster collaboration and high performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in managing and leading Microsoft Security consulting projects or teams.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-level Microsoft 365 Security and Purview programmes.
• Experience engaging executive stakeholders and contributing to business development and proposals.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Privileged Identity Management.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, and compliance tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Defender (XDR, Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps, Vulnerability Management).
• Expertise in data classification, sensitivity labeling, DLP, insider risk management, and information governance via Microsoft Purview.
• Understanding of collaboration security for Microsoft 365 workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with AI security tools such as Microsoft Security Copilot, 365 Copilot, and Agent 365 governance.

Certifications

• Mandatory: One or more Microsoft certifications such as Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), Information Protection and Compliance Administrator (SC-400), Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), or Security Operations Analyst (SC-200).
• Preferred: CISSP, CISA certifications are advantageous.
