Cybersecurity Consultant – Cyber Training, Exercises & Readiness

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant specializing in cyber training, exercises, and readiness to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is a 12+ month contract focused on supporting planning, execution, and capability-building within cybersecurity exercises and drills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and managing cyber drills and exercises.
• Develop detailed exercise scenarios, including attack narratives and supporting documentation.
• Research cybersecurity technologies, SOC platforms, incident response tools, threat intelligence, and industry standards.
• Evaluate various security monitoring, detection, and response systems.
• Support activities related to cyber ranges and exercise simulation platforms.
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and meetings with stakeholders.
• Generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and lessons learned documentation.
• Help transfer knowledge and build client team capabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity and security operations.
• Experience or knowledge in cyber training, exercises, drills, cyber ranges, or cyber resilience programs.
• Familiarity with domains like Security Operations Centers (SOC), Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, SIEM, EDR technologies, Vulnerability Management, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Comfortable researching and understanding various SOC tools, incident response platforms, security products, and methodologies.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven with enthusiasm to learn and enhance skills on the job.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to convey complex technical information succinctly.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting directly with client stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting, client-facing roles, workshops, or training is preferred.
• Arabic language proficiency is highly preferred and candidates with this skill should be prioritized.
