Job Role

The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing security measures to safeguard the Industrial Intelligence Platform, internal systems, and customer environments. Daily tasks involve monitoring security incidents, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, analyzing logs, and promptly responding to security threats. This role requires working closely with software, infrastructure, and product teams to integrate security into software architecture and network design while documenting and enforcing security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls protecting the company’s platform and systems.
• Monitor security events and analyze logs to detect suspicious activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans; prioritize and remediate identified issues.
• Respond promptly and systematically to security incidents.
• Collaborate across teams to embed security best practices in application architectures and network designs.
• Maintain and update security tools and configurations regularly.
• Conduct security awareness sessions for employees.
• Support continuous improvements in the organization's security posture.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including frameworks, risk management, and policy formulation.
• Proficient in Network Security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network design.
• Hands-on experience with Application Security involving secure coding, code reviews, and integrating security into development life cycles.
• Expertise in Vulnerability Assessment including scanning, prioritization, and remediation of system and application vulnerabilities.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or Security+.
• Familiarity with industrial operational technologies, OT security, and IIoT platforms is advantageous.
• Ability to operate onsite in Riyadh and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, communicating technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related areas.
