Role Overview
As part of Komatsu's Customer Support Centre based in Welshpool, you will act as the initial point of contact for parts-related enquiries. Your role is critical in assisting customers across Australia, supporting them through parts sales, quotations, orders, deliveries, and addressing technical questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling parts enquiries, preparing quotations, managing sales, and processing orders promptly.
- Providing knowledgeable technical support and guidance on parts.
- Conducting follow-ups on customer requests and managing urgent or critical orders.
- Sourcing parts efficiently, including the management of backorders.
- Maintaining communication channels through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to support customers effectively.
- Establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Collaborating with various internal teams to meet and exceed customer service objectives.
Work Schedule and Location
The role operates on a roster of five working days followed by two days off. The workplace is situated in Welshpool, Western Australia.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in parts sales, interpreting parts information, or customer support within technical or industrial sectors.
- Good understanding of earthmoving machinery with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Exceptional customer service capabilities with skillfulness in relationship building at multiple organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business software applications at an intermediate level.
- Strong communication skills, competent in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
- Capacity to work autonomously while managing priorities effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Trade qualification is advantageous but not a mandatory requirement.
