Team and Service Overview
The KLA Services group, based in Milpitas, CA, encompasses service sales, marketing, spare parts supply chain, field operations, engineering, product training, and technical support. This organization works closely with field teams and customers across business sectors to maintain product performance with a versatile service portfolio. Their services include proactive tool management to boost performance, expertise in optics, image processing and motion control, 24/7 support teams, and an extensive global parts network.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing customer service by updating, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical equipment on-site.
- Serving as the company’s representative to customers and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with service delivery.
- Coordinating closely with customers to reduce downtime efficiently.
- Documenting field service activities through detailed reports and sharing recurring issues with supporting teams.
- Collaborating with technical support, headquarter engineering, and manufacturing engineering teams on maintenance protocols and enhancing equipment reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Proficient practical skills in electronics, electrical systems, pneumatic and mechanical assembly.
- Competent in reading and interpreting engineering schematics, technical manuals, and drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel moderately within Europe and attend training sessions in the USA or Asia.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Valid driving license applicable to the working country.
Working Conditions
The role supports a manufacturing environment operating 24/7, with a day-shift schedule and applicable shift cycle allowances.
