Role Overview
Join the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) as an engaging and proactive Customer Service Representative. This position requires a personable professional to be the welcoming face and voice of the organisation, focused on fostering strong relationships and delivering remarkable experiences to members, visitors, and stakeholders. It involves moving beyond a conventional reception role to actively support engagement and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service as the primary point of contact for members, visitors, and stakeholders, ensuring memorable and professional interactions.
- Represent PSOJ positively in all communications, embodying the organisation's mission and values.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with various stakeholders including prospective members, partners, and the wider business community.
- Handle enquiries and concerns effectively, ensuring timely resolution or appropriate escalation.
- Assist in organising and supporting member engagement events such as networking opportunities, meetings, and forums.
- Contribute to the creation and dissemination of member communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Gather and report on member and stakeholder feedback to aid continuous service improvement and enhance satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications and Experience
- Associate degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Psychology, Sociology, Human Resource Management, Customer Experience Management, Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Organisational Behaviour, or related fields.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in roles centred on customer service, stakeholder engagement, communications, membership services, hospitality, public relations, marketing, or similar people-focused positions.
- Strong proficiency with written and oral communication, including telephone etiquette and professional correspondence.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with graphic design software, CRM, membership management, or database tools is advantageous.
