Role Overview

We are seeking full-time Customer Service Representatives for our Federal Government support team based in Modbury. In this role, you will be the approachable and professional initial contact for customers, assisting them in resolving issues, accessing critical services, and achieving optimal results.

Every customer interaction requires empathy, keen listening, and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional service that truly matters.

Experience in healthcare, customer service, hospitality, retail, or call centers is welcome, but not essential. Comprehensive training, resource materials, and ongoing management support will be provided to help you excel.

Key Duties

  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email; process related tasks efficiently.
  • Establish rapport quickly while delivering precise and timely information.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues by adhering to established procedures.
  • Achieve performance targets tied to customer satisfaction and service quality.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate clarity and confidence.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy during busy periods.
  • Collaborative team member who fosters a positive working atmosphere.
  • Empathetic and patient, especially when assisting customers facing challenges.
  • Able to effectively use multiple computer systems with typing speeds of 20 words per minute or higher.
  • Must be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining Security Clearance.
  • Previous experience in customer service or contact centers is beneficial but not mandatory; transferable skills are valued and training is provided.

Working Hours

Full-time employment with rostered shifts Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 7:30pm on a rotating schedule. Some flexibility is available to accommodate personal commitments.
