This contract role as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant involves designing, developing, and deploying high-quality ServiceNow solutions. Areas of focus include ITSM, CSM, HRSD, CMDB, workflow automation, and other platform capabilities. The consultant will work on projects and client engagements, ensuring solutions align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive ServiceNow solutions spanning various workflows and modules.
- Collaborate with clients to assess business requirements and propose scalable ServiceNow architectures and configurations.
- Lead specific project tasks such as requirements gathering, design workshops, sprint planning, and technical implementation.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow components including forms, workflows, integrations, automation scripts, business rules, and portal features.
- Assist with installation, testing, deployment, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients.
- Identify potential risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement, escalating when necessary.
- Create technical specifications, user manuals, configuration documentation, and architecture diagrams.
- Support proposal development, solution presentations, and pre-sales activities alongside ServiceNow Practice leaders.
- Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow releases, industry best practices, automation methods, and emerging platform features.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security standards in all work activities.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least three years of experience in systems design, integrations, or technology consulting, preferably with practical ServiceNow delivery experience.
- Proficiency in one or more ServiceNow modules or technical areas such as ITSM, CSM, CMDB, automation, Flow Designer, and integrations.
- Strong analytical thinking and consultative abilities to convert business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging both end-users and IT professionals.
- Experience in preparing technical specifications and documentation.
- Capability to work collaboratively and maintain productive client relationships.
- Understanding of business structures, strategic planning, and corporate environments.
- Knowledge of industry standards and government policies related to data communications and networking.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and automation techniques.
