Job description
Role Overview
GoHiya is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a fully remote position based in Canada. This role primarily involves managing incoming destination-related operations focusing on Italy and Mediterranean locations, encompassing customer service, case management, and maintaining precise documentation to ensure deadline oversight and data accuracy throughout the workflow process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee assigned customer service tasks using destination-management reporting for Italy and Mediterranean regions, managing escalations and documenting cases to ensure deadlines and record integrity are maintained.
- Evaluate incoming data through customer service channels, ticket management, and proactive follow-up to detect and rectify any incomplete or inconsistent information before progressing to the subsequent workflow step.
- Monitor pending actions via case and queue management, emphasizing customer and service-centered representations while ensuring ownership, deadline tracking, and comprehensive record-keeping.
- Record and communicate decisions and handoffs clearly to allow seamless workflow continuity among authorized team members without the need to reconstruct prior history.
- Utilize ticket management and follow-up procedures to uphold quality standards and escalate issues when source accuracy cannot be verified from existing records.
Success Criteria
Strong performance is characterized by reinforcing deadline adherence, thorough record completion, and accuracy in all case and queue management activities, ensuring every unresolved item retains a dedicated owner and all completed work leaves clear, auditable evidence.
Candidate Fit
- Practical experience with destination-management reporting for Italy and Mediterranean operations within a remote Canadian workflow.
- Effective written communication skills for documenting ownership, status updates, and subsequent actions through escalation and ticket management.
- Ability to apply follow-up processes and service-focused procedures like the Renata Travel DMC Workflow, maintaining accurate operational records.
- Good judgment in managing cases, queues, and determining when escalation is necessary in the Canadian workflow context.
Position Details
- Full-time, entry-level position.
- Remote work setup, open anywhere within Canada.
- Salary range from $40,000 to $60,000 annually.
