Role Overview

As a key contributor to our store's inviting atmosphere, you will deliver exceptional customer service that embodies the Farm Boy promise. Your responsibilities span from ensuring appealing product displays to assisting customers and maintaining the store’s overall quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, confident, and engaging service that aligns with Farm Boy’s commitment to an outstanding fresh shopping experience.
• Greet and assist customers attentively while enthusiastically sharing product knowledge and Farm Boy Service Standards.
• Handle packaging, stocking, and rotating merchandise to maintain attractive displays and accurate signage.
• Keep work and storage areas orderly, performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Adhere strictly to corporate policies, especially concerning Health & Safety, Food Safety, and equipment usage.
• Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently while collaborating with team members to support store operations.
• Assist with other team duties as required to maintain smooth store function.

Qualifications and Skills

• Genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding and personable customer service experiences.
• Retail experience is advantageous; however, equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to work autonomously with attention to detail, taking pride in quality delivery and cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, supporting a cooperative and team-focused environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting involving multiple deadlines, prolonged standing, lifting heavy items, and exposure to cooler, freezer, and outdoor environments.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in English; French language skills are a plus.
