About the Company
We are collaborating with a well-established global FMCG brand that is currently experiencing rapid growth in Australia. Supported by a financially strong international group, the Australian branch is expanding quickly and fosters a culture centered on teamwork and collaboration.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with both internal teams and external parties.
- Develop and nurture positive relationships with customers and suppliers to provide outstanding service quality.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and drive performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate import shipments by working closely with customs brokers ensuring all necessary documentation and permits meet compliance standards.
- Track stock in transit across all products, including promotional goods, to align with lead times and inventory targets.
- Lead monthly meetings with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and proactively update stakeholders on inbound logistics status.
- Manage customer orders received through EDI and ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery metrics are met.
- Act as the primary contact for customers and suppliers dealing with daily issues and resolutions.
- Perform daily reconciliations between the 3PL Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP, resolving discrepancies and providing necessary corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory allocation within SAP across various storage locations to maintain accurate stock records.
- Handle customer claims within SAP and introduce solutions to avoid recurring problems.
- Coordinate daily order fulfillment and oversee downstream logistics operations.
- Monitor distribution schedules to retail customers, identifying potential cost optimization opportunities in logistics.
- Serve as an SAP key user for Sales and Distribution modules, collaborating with IT for process setup and system enhancement requests.
- Track, analyze, and report supply chain KPIs such as shipment efficiency, costs, and delivery timelines, suggesting improvements based on data insights.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of import/customs processes and managing inbound logistics.
- Proficiency with SAP, especially in Sales and Distribution (SC-SD) modules, combined with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating confidence in managing partnerships with customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Highly proactive, detail-focused, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
