Custodian

Overview

RoShay Services is seeking a dedicated full-time custodian responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for students, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, polishing, scrubbing, sealing, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Manage custodial supplies by stocking necessary areas.
• Properly clean and handle bodily fluids following safety protocols.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to climb ladders and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in custodial building maintenance and grounds care is desirable.
• Must obtain a Minnesota boilers license prior to the end of probation.
• A Minnesota driver's license may be necessary for certain duties.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate is $21.42.
• Benefits include eligibility for retirement plans, health insurance, and other insurance coverage.

Working Schedule

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
